My Place

It took almost a year and a half to furnish my apartment. First started with a humble
stool and a squashy air mattress (because I didn't realize that I had to change the batteries for the pump, duh!). Then a matchbox TV from Best Buy, a small round table from a stranger, and a deluxe campers chair from Giant. Followed by a bed, a mattress, and a desk from IKEA. And later, a few bits and pieces from kind acquaintances.

But I longed for a comfy sofa to sink in after a day at work, a solid dinning table for a hotpot dinner, and a nice TV to entertain friends.

I waited, and then waited patiently...
Gradually, a pile of miracles started to gather up in my place.
